Unleash your inner film director and win!

Come 1 July Christchurch City Libraries will give you the chance to get your very own 15 minutes of YouTube fame.

A host of prizes will be up for grabs including a Dell laptop computer, a Sony camcorder, a Vodaphone iPhone and hundreds of dollars worth of vouchers with our very first YouTube competition – to celebrate a phenomenal 150 years of public library service in Christchurch.

To be in to win unleash your inner-film director to make a stand out video, upload it to YouTube and send us your entry form. Categories include Open (18 yrs and over), Pulse (13-18 yrs) and Kids (10-12 yrs).

Christchurch City Libraries will select the best six videos in each category. An expert judging panel will select the winners from each category.

Winners will be announced at a special screening event on 7 August 2009 and the winning videos will be featured and publicised on library150.com. Remember, the judging panel will be looking for creativity and original ideas!

The competition kicks off on 1 July and entries close 22 July.
