Photographers note: Taken on Anzac Day. I tried my hardest to find a Bishopdale Anzac service but there wasn't one, so I decided to go to Bishopdale on Anzac Day hoping for something. I was lucky enough to come across this house; the sign on the garage says "Lest we forget, our flag our country, we will remember them." That day Bishopdale was empty, I saw nobody, I assumed a lot of people went to the service in the central city. 2 Cotswold Avenue, Bishopdale.

- Parent Collection Description A collaboration between Christchurch City Libraries and the University of Canterbury, School of Fine Arts to create a documentary photographic record of Bishopdale and surrounds in 2017. Thomas Herman, Liam Lyons, Elise Williams, Janneth Gil and Lucas Perelini from the School of Fine Arts created a body of photographic images of people and the physical and social environment, a unique collection that reflects the diversity of the Bishopdale area in 2017.
